Panel-Ready Refrigerator Install With a Seamless Built-In Finish

Panel-ready refrigerators are one of those appliances that look incredible when done right - and look like a headache waiting to happen when they're not. The whole point is that the fridge disappears into the cabinetry. No stainless steel sticking out. No visual break in the room. Just one clean, continuous look from wall to wall.

We teamed up with ZJ Design N Build on this one, and the coordination between our install work and their cabinetry build made all the difference. That's the thing about panel-ready installs - they only work as well as the team behind them. The fridge has to sit at exactly the right depth, the panels have to align with the surrounding cabinet faces, and the hardware has to match. One thing off and the whole effect falls apart.

What we ended up with here is a french-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer drawer, fully wrapped in custom wood panels with brass hardware that ties right into the rest of the kitchen. It looks like a cabinet. That's the goal. You'd have to open it to know it's a fridge.

This kind of install takes more prep and more precision than a standard appliance drop-in. You're working around custom cabinetry, managing clearances, and making sure the door panels sit flush and swing without catching. It's detail work - and we take that seriously every time.
