Panel-ready appliances are one of those details that can make or break a high-end kitchen design. When everything lines up - the panels, the hardware, the cabinetry - the refrigerator just disappears into the space. That's exactly what we were going for on this Monogram unit for a home show build in Norwalk, Iowa.
This is the kind of install that demands patience and precision. A panel-ready built-in refrigerator has to sit flush with the surrounding cabinetry. The gaps have to be even. The panels have to align with the rest of the doors. If anything is even slightly off, it sticks out - and in a home show setting, people are looking at every single detail.
We partnered with Ryan at Serenity Homes on this one, and it was a smooth collaboration from start to finish. Working with a builder who cares about the details makes our job easier and the end result better. The warm brass hardware ties the whole wall together and gives it that custom, furniture-grade feel that panel-ready appliances are known for.
Getting a built-in appliance installation like this done right takes more than just setting the unit in place. There's leveling, alignment, panel fitting, and hardware placement to think through carefully. We take our time on every step because the whole point of a panel-ready refrigerator is that it looks like it was always meant to be there - not like something that was added later.
If you're a builder or homeowner working on a kitchen where appliances need to blend in seamlessly, this is the type of work we do every day. Panel-ready installs, built-in refrigerators, full appliance packages - we handle it all and we handle it with care.
