New construction moves at its own pace. Trades overlap, timelines shift, and not everything is ready at the same time. That's just the reality of building a home from the ground up. Our job is to work within that reality and keep things moving.
On this visit, that meant getting a pro-style gas range set into place and a dishwasher positioned at the island - both while the rest of the kitchen was still very much a work in progress. Cabinets partially installed, countertops not yet on, boxes still scattered around. We don't need everything finished to make forward progress.
Getting appliances placed and roughed in early actually helps the overall build. It lets other trades verify clearances, confirm rough-in locations are correct, and avoid costly adjustments later. It's one of those behind-the-scenes things that doesn't look flashy but saves real headaches down the line.
We work closely with builders and homeowners throughout the construction process - not just at the finish line. Whether it's a single appliance or a full kitchen lineup, we show up ready to do what can be done that day and leave the job in better shape than we found it.
That stainless range with the bronze hardware is going to be a showpiece in this kitchen once everything comes together. Right now it's just set in place, but it's checked off the list - and that's exactly the point.
