Mounting a large TV above a fireplace sounds simple enough. In reality, it's one of the trickier installs you can do - and when it's done wrong, it shows. The wall material, the height, the mount type, the cable management - every detail matters if you want it to look clean and hold up long-term.
What we're working with here is a big TV on a full-motion mount, sitting above a stone fireplace with a wood mantel. Full-motion mounts are the right call in a setup like this. They let you tilt and swivel the screen so you're not straining your neck no matter where you're sitting in the room. That's a big deal when the TV is mounted higher than eye level.
The stone surround is the part that trips most people up. You can't just drive a screw into stacked stone and call it a day. It takes the right anchors, the right approach, and knowing exactly where to hit solid material. Get that wrong and you've got a very expensive TV hanging from a wall that isn't ready for it.
We take the guesswork out of all of it. Whether you're dealing with drywall, stone, brick, or something in between - we come prepared. The goal is always the same: a secure mount, a clean look, and a TV positioned exactly where it needs to be for your space.
If you've got a TV sitting in a box waiting to go up, we'd be glad to handle the install. Full-motion, fixed, tilting - we work with all mount types and all wall surfaces.
