This was a full kitchen appliance install - and not a small one. We're talking a built-in column refrigerator set, a gas range, a dishwasher, two microwaves, and a ventilation hood. Every piece had to fit right, sit level, and look like it belonged there. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job.
Built-in appliances are a different animal compared to freestanding ones. The column refrigerator set is a good example. Each unit has to be perfectly positioned so the doors align, the gap between them is tight, and the whole thing sits flush with the surrounding cabinetry. There's no hiding a sloppy install on something like that - it's the centerpiece of the kitchen. We made sure it landed exactly where it needed to.
The gas range installation required the same level of attention. Connecting a gas line isn't something you rush through. Everything has to be checked, the fit into the cabinet run has to be right, and the unit needs to sit level before anything else happens. Same goes for the dishwasher - it gets secured properly under the counter so it doesn't shift, and the door has to close clean against the cabinet face.
The microwave installations added another layer to the job. Both units were built-in configurations, which means the rough opening has to be right and the trim has to sit flush. One was tucked into upper cabinetry, the other into a lower cabinet run. Different setups, same expectation - clean and intentional. The ventilation hood got the same treatment, recessed cleanly into the wall surround above the range.
West Des Moines trusted us with a serious kitchen, and we made sure every piece of it was installed to last. When you're putting this kind of investment into a space, the install matters just as much as the appliances themselves. We don't cut corners on either.
