Kitchen remodels have a lot of moving parts. The cabinets, the countertops, the backsplash - all of it matters. But the appliance install is where everything either comes together or falls apart. Get it wrong, and even a beautiful kitchen feels off.
This Central Des Moines kitchen had a full lineup to work with. A panel-ready built-in refrigerator fitted flush with custom cabinetry, a KitchenAid gas cooktop dropped into the marble countertop, a built-in wall oven and microwave combo set tight into the surrounding cabinets, and drawer-style appliances tucked cleanly into the island. Every piece had to land just right.
Panel-ready installs are where a lot of people run into trouble. The refrigerator doors have to align perfectly with the cabinet faces, and the trim work above has to sit flush or the whole thing looks sloppy. We take our time on the fit and finish because that's what separates a polished kitchen from one that just looks almost done.
The gas cooktop is another one that demands attention. Proper gas line connection, correct cutout fit in the countertop, and making sure everything is sealed and tested before we wrap up. No shortcuts. Same goes for the wall oven - it has to be level, secured, and wired correctly to sit flush in the cabinet opening the way it's supposed to.
Big remodels deserve a clean finish. That's what we're here for - making sure every appliance is installed the way it was designed to work, so the kitchen actually functions as good as it looks.
