Custom kitchens are a different animal. You're not just swapping out a dishwasher or dropping in a microwave. You're coordinating multiple appliances across different zones, each with its own cutout requirements, electrical needs, and clearance specs. Get one thing wrong and it throws off the whole kitchen.
This one had a solid lineup to work through - a Bosch dishwasher, an undercabinet fridge, a Sharp microwave drawer, a Thermador induction cooktop, and a retractable downdraft. Each appliance has its own install process, and when you stack them all together in one kitchen, sequencing matters. We take the time to work through each piece carefully so nothing gets rushed and nothing gets missed.
The Sharp microwave drawer is worth calling out specifically. A lot of people love the look of a drawer-style microwave built into the cabinetry, but the install is more involved than a standard over-the-range unit. It has to sit flush, the drawer mechanism needs to operate smoothly, and the electrical has to be right. Same goes for the induction cooktop - cutout precision is critical, and the countertop protection you can see throughout the job reflects how seriously we take protecting the finished surfaces around us.
What we ended up with here is a kitchen that's ready to actually perform. Every appliance seated properly, every connection done right. That's the whole point. A beautiful custom kitchen only stays beautiful if the appliances work the way they're supposed to from day one. Dishwasher installation, microwave installation, cooktop, fridge - we handle it all under one roof so the homeowner doesn't have to juggle multiple contractors.
