Full Custom Appliance Install Day in Polk City

This was a big one. We partnered with the team at Black Birch Design and Build on a full custom appliance install - and the scope covered just about every room in the house. Gas range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. When a build is this detailed, every appliance has to be treated with the same care that went into the cabinetry and finishes around it.

The kitchen was the centerpiece. A pro-style gas range sits inside a beautifully arched alcove with a marble slab backsplash and a pot filler mounted to the wall above it. That kind of setup looks stunning, but it also means the installation has to be precise - one thing off and the whole thing reads wrong. We made sure the range fit the space the way it was designed to.

The built-in microwave drawer installation required the same attention. Getting the fit flush with the surrounding cabinetry is not something you just wing. It has to sit level, the trim has to line up, and the electrical connection has to be clean. Same goes for the panel-ready dishwasher tucked into the white cabinetry run - that integrated look only works if the install is done right from the start.

Over in the laundry room, we set up a front-load washer and dryer pair on matching pedestals. Leveling a set like that on pedestals matters more than most people realize. If the machines are not perfectly balanced, you end up with vibration, noise, and wear that shortens the life of the units. We take that stuff seriously even when it is not the glamorous part of the job.
