Opening a bar is a lot of moving parts - and getting the refrigeration right is one of the most critical pieces of the puzzle. Too many new spots rush through it or piece together mismatched equipment and end up paying for it later. We took a different approach on this one.

We handled the full refrigeration setup for a new bar coming to Dallas Center. The mix of units we installed reflects exactly how a working bar actually operates. You've got the large True two-door glass reach-in for high-volume storage in the back, back bar coolers sitting flush under the granite countertop for quick bartender access, a top-load bottle cooler built right into the bar structure, and a draft beer dispenser with a polished chrome tower ready for kegs. Every unit has a purpose. Nothing is overkill, nothing is undersized.

Choosing True refrigeration for a build like this isn't just about brand preference. True units are known in the commercial food service world for reliable temperature consistency and long service life. That matters a lot when you're a bar owner counting on your cold storage to hold temp through a packed Friday night rush.

What we love about jobs like this is the coordination involved. It's not just dropping units into place. You have to think about how the bartenders are going to move, where the traffic flow is, and what makes sense for the space. The back bar line runs the full length of that wall, and getting everything positioned correctly before the countertops go down permanently takes planning up front.

This bar isn't open yet, but it's close. The refrigeration is in, it's running, and it's ready for inventory. That's the kind of progress that actually moves an opening day up on the calendar.
