This one is a full custom kitchen build, and we're right in the thick of it. The homeowner went with a seriously impressive appliance lineup - and getting every piece to fit, function, and look like it was always meant to be there takes a lot more planning than most people realize.
Here's what we were working with. A Wolf dual-fuel range with that signature red knob setup, a pair of built-in refrigerator columns set flush into custom cabinetry, a panel-ready dishwasher tucked right into the island run, a Sharp microwave drawer sitting clean under the marble countertop, and an under-counter stainless refrigerator unit nestled into its own cabinet nook. That's five appliance installs across one kitchen - each one with its own fit requirements and hookup needs.
Custom built-in appliances are not a drop-in situation. The columns alone require precise cabinet openings, solid anchoring, and careful alignment so both doors operate correctly once the custom panels go on. The Wolf range has to be level, properly spaced from the surrounding cabinetry, and connected to a gas line the right way - no shortcuts there. Same goes for the dishwasher and microwave drawer. Panel-ready and drawer-style appliances have tighter tolerances than standard units. A gap that's off by even a little bit is going to stick out in a kitchen this nice.
We're waiting on the final hardware before we button everything up completely, but the hard work is done. Every unit is set, connected, and dialed in. When the last piece of trim hardware gets installed, this kitchen is going to look exactly the way it was designed to look.
If you're planning a kitchen remodel or new build and you've got built-in appliances on your list, this is the kind of work that really does need an experienced hand. We handle gas range installation, refrigerator column installation, dishwasher installation, microwave installation, and full built-in appliance packages from start to finish.
