We were called back out to a builder job this week to wrap up a kitchen after some cabinet adjustments were made since our last visit. That kind of thing happens on new construction - cabinetry gets tweaked, dimensions shift slightly, and suddenly the fit isn't quite what it was. That's exactly why we stay in close communication with our builder partners throughout the process.

With built-in appliances, fit is everything. A wall oven and microwave combo stacked in a tall cabinet run looks sharp when it's dialed in - and looks off when it isn't. Even a small gap or misalignment draws the eye. We made sure the unit sat flush and clean in the opening before calling it done.

The column refrigerator installation on the other side of the kitchen is a good example of why this work requires patience. Two full-height columns side by side, set into a dedicated cabinet opening with upper cabinets above - that setup has zero room for error. The trim lines up, the doors hang straight, and the whole wall reads as one cohesive design element.

Getting it right the first time matters. But being willing to come back and get it right after a change? That's the part that actually builds trust with builders and homeowners alike. We don't cut corners just to close out a job.

This is the kind of work we do regularly for builders finishing out high-end new construction kitchens. Built-in appliance installation at this level isn't just plug-and-play - it takes experience, attention to detail, and a willingness to see it through until it's right.
