Basements are one of our favorite spaces to work in. There's something about turning an unfinished or underused room into the spot everyone actually wants to hang out in. That's exactly what happened here.
We mounted a large flat screen and installed a sound bar right below it, with a subwoofer on the floor to fill out the low end. The gaming console is already plugged in and running - the kids had Fortnite loaded up before we even finished packing up our gear. That's always a good sign.
A setup like this is more than just hanging a TV on a wall. Getting the height right, making sure the sound bar sits flush and centered under the screen, routing the cables cleanly - those details are what separate a clean install from one that just kind of works. We take all of that seriously on every job.
The basement gaming room has become a real thing, and honestly it makes sense. Dedicated space, big screen, real sound. Whether it's the kids on a Friday night or adults watching the game on Sunday, the right setup makes the room feel intentional instead of thrown together.
If you've got a space like this that needs a proper TV or sound bar install, this is what we do. Clean work, no guesswork.
